Program Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

The Role:

Your role is to be the regional Government program development and execution manager in Singapore reporting to the Regional Director of Government Security Programs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a broad-based government cyber practice that incorporates the full breadth and depth of FireEye capabilities and solutions for Singapore government and other relevant regions under guidance of the Regional Director. Key areas of focus will include strategic advisory and security program support services targeted towards both national level and agency specific cyber protection and defense capabilities. You will serve as FireEye’s regional cyber and government subject matter expert for your region of responsibility in alignment with the Regional Director of Government Security Programs direction and FireEye’s Global Government strategy. You will be the trusted adviser to government agencies regarding current cybersecurity capabilities, mission risks, and the cyber threat landscape. 


  • Responsible for developing regional and national specific government focused cybersecurity solutions and offerings based on FireEye’s entire security platform 
  • Develop and implement a regional and national specific government staff augmentation capability
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to government clients seeking to enhance their security capabilities and mature their organization
  • Review policies, standards and procedures to understand client capabilities and current security environment
  • Assess the maturity level of client organizations against best practices and drive desired security program and architecture transformation
  • Provide strategic guidance and trusted advisory services to assist in the development and execution of roadmaps for short and long-term security capabilities
  • Intuitively and proactively understands client concerns and facilitates escalation to the appropriate resources to address and resolve each situation
  • Operate as a client advocate to ensure all program and delivery issues are resolved and the client experience is enhanced
  • Build and strengthen client relationships at multiple levels of the government 
  • Serve as a client advocate internally within Mandiant to provide the right contact points and solutions to assist in solving the client’s problems
  • Undertake your responsibilities as part of the Asia Pacific Global Government team under the guidance and direction of the Regional Director of Government Security Programs.


Required Skills

  • Significant experience assessing and developing strategic solutions and programs across multiple security domains
  • Prior experience accessing and building information security programs for enterprise and/or government clients
  • Ability to understand client’s current mission drivers, challenges, and strategic direction and provide tactical security solutions
  • Demonstrated experience accessing cyber security and mission risks and devising solutions to combat public sector focused threats
  • Significant experience advising clients on security programs such as incident response, cyber threat intelligence, security operations, data protection and security architecture.
  • Ability to perform project management functions including:  status reporting, staffing, and team building and development
  • Experience in performing engagement enablement including: scoping engagements, structuring customized engagements based on client’s request, proposal writing, and drafting statements of work
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills; proven experience articulating security and risk-related concepts to all audiences, including senior executives
  • Ability to successfully interface with and establish rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to use formal project management skills in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner.  
  • Ability to set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders and team members 

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with the critical tools used in security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, malware analysis, or other areas of security operations
  • Thorough understanding of traditional security operations, event monitoring, and SIEM tools
  • Fundamental understanding of network protocols, packet flow, firewall technologies, proxy and endpoint threat detection technologies
  • Understanding of security controls for common platforms and devices, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and network equipment
  • Expert knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including: Windows, Linux, and network architecture, implementation, and configuration

Education and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems or related discipline
  • Current Security clearance or demonstrated ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience plus Master’s degree or minimum 10 years of relevant experience if no Master’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with government customers
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% both domestic and international
  • Relevant government employment experience is desirable
  • Relevant security specific certifications such as CISSP is desirable
