Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, strategic direction, cost and customer focus for the working areas. Also set and manage the respective strategies and objectives for the region
  • Manage Product Supply regional needs and requirements for projects and sustainable operation of the respective systems and technology in alignment with global requirements/functions
  • Provide knowledge and guidance in the working areas
  • Act as principal expert, coordinator and central point of contact for all other Product Supply functions in the region and for corresponding global EMEX functions. Also act as regional network promoter for best practice sharing in this area of expertise
  • Provide solutions and promote new technologies in the regions in alignment with global functions.  Drive automation programs and projects in the region in cooperation with global functions to ensure the competiveness of CS.
  • Vendor and partner relationship management
  • Drive regional communities in alignment with global EMEX functions

Requirements

  • A degree holder in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or comparable education with minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in automation, digitalization and/ or manufacturing IT and a  proven track record
  • A creative problem-solver with positive can-do attitude, personally mature, integrative, persuasive and assertive; strong conceptual, communication and analytical skills
  • Has strong leadership skills (cross functional, cross cultural) with the ability to interface all levels of the organization
  • Display high level of initiative, effort and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently
  • Work with minimal supervision and able to demonstrate responsible behavior and attention to detail
  • Is results oriented, dynamic and key driver for organizational development and change management initiatives
